Ms. Hempel serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Wallbox. She joined Wallbox in 2025, bringing over 15 years of experience in IT strategy, enterprise technology, and digital transformation.
Before joining Wallbox, she was the CIO of Adevinta Group, where she led IT operations for a portfolio of online marketplaces across Europe, managing large-scale integrations, cybersecurity, and global technology platforms. Previously, she held various leadership roles at ABB in Switzerland, overseeing IT strategy, service procurement, and global technology operations.
Ms. Hempel holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Zurich and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
